1. Your realtor has lots of experience and technology to assist you quickly.

2.  Internet is so cool...the real estate agents have the inside scoop when a home is coming on the market, when the price has been reduced, or sadly, when a home goes under contract before you get to see it.  

3. Experienced real estate agents know how to negotiate on your behalf.  Did you know that real estate agents have to take continuing education every two years? 

4. Real estate agents can get you connected to just the right person, whether it's a mortgage person, inspector or title company, an attorney, if you want one or anyone else that would assist you in your purchase.

5. They adhere to a strict code of ethics. Not every real estate agent is a Realtor, who is a licensed real estate salesperson who belongs to the National Association of Realtors®, the largest trade group in the country.  Realtors are held to a much higher standard than licensed against and must adhere to the Code of Ethics.

6. Realtors act like your parent, your therapist, they wear multiple hats. They’re your  parent/data analyst/therapist—all rolled into one.

7.  They don't just show you the home, they are in the background negotiating, completing multiple forms, multiple phone calls...all hours of the day and night, even holidays.  They spend their own money on advertising, marketing and gas and maintainance, too.

8.  Find an agent that loves their job, is good at it and that you feel comfortable working with.
