LOCAL RESTAURANT...REVIEW on ROUTE 611, SWIFTWATER, PA

Just had to share our fabulous experience at one of the local Japanese Restarants, Desaki's on Route 611, Swiftwater, Pa.

Intimate dining or family fun, you won't be disappointed.  With no reservations needed you don't have to plan, just so hungry because the food is filling, plenty of it and no room for dessert.

Your choice of hibachi style cooking with scallops, or filet mignon, salmon, shrimp, lobster or chicken.  It comes with an appetizer, soup and then your entrée served with rice and noodles.

The chef makes it an experience, whether you are celebrating a birthday or anniversary, he makes it a big deal.  Between lighting his hat on fire, pitching a little taste to you, signing happy birthday or anniversary, his mastery is amazing.

It has the three 'f's...fire, food and fun. Forgot to mention, there's a couple of bars to.

And we had our Christmas party there also, great if you wanted to rent it for formal or unformal groups.

Funny story, the bartender carded everyone at our table, which is funny, I'm over 60...I wasn't sure, was it the makeup, diet, new hair color or cut...no just a humorous waiter...
